ABOUT
Hi, I’m Fiona, a specialist paediatric physiotherapist with years of experience supporting babies, children and families across acute health and community settings.
I created Thrive Children’s Physiotherapy to offer expert, family-centred care close to home.
I’m passionate about early support, play based therapy and empowering parents with the tools and confidence to support their child’s development.
My background
After graduating from Ulster University in 2008, I spent several years working across diverse clinical settings in New Zealand and Australia. It was during my time in Australia that I found my calling in paediatric physiotherapy.
Since 2015, I’ve focused on supporting children with a wide range of needs—whether they are experiencing motor development delays, movement difficulties, musculoskeletal injuries, coordination challenges, or complex neurological conditions. My approach is grounded in years of experience, advanced training, and a commitment to providing family-centred care.
In addition to my expertise in paediatric physiotherapy, I am a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor and have enjoyed teaching matwork and reformer classes to clients at all ages and stages of life.
Since returning to Northern Ireland in 2017, I’ve continued to expand my skills, currently working as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist specialising in Neurodisability within the NHS. Now, with Thrive, I’m excited to offer personalised paediatric physiotherapy services in my local community. My goal is to provide flexible, family-centred care that empowers your child to thrive—on a schedule that works for you.
